Brake Repair & Replacement

priced after inspection

The braking system is directly responsible for the safety of the driver, passengers and other road users, which is why we never cut corners on brake work. We check the thickness of the brake discs, the condition of the pads, and the tightness of the hoses and calipers, and if the discs are worn below the minimum thickness, we tell you directly instead of offering to resurface them. We also carry out brake fluid replacement and system bleeding, which is mandatory after any depressurization.

When to get in touch

If you notice any of these, it’s better not to wait:

  • You've noticed squealing or grinding when braking
  • The stopping distance has noticeably increased
  • The brake pedal has become soft or drops to the floor
  • The car pulls to one side when braking
  • There's vibration in the pedal or steering wheel when braking
  • The brake pad wear indicator light has come on
  • Fluid stains are visible near the wheels
  • More than 2 years have passed since the last brake fluid change
  • Brake system repair has been done that requires bleeding

An honest brake system check

Brakes aren't a part of the car where cutting corners or temporary fixes belong. At every check, we assess the actual condition of the brake system and give the customer an accurate picture, even if that means recommending expensive parts need replacing.

During the check, we monitor:

  • Brake disc thickness against the minimum allowed
  • Remaining brake pad thickness
  • The tightness of brake hoses and lines
  • The condition and operation of the brake calipers
  • The level and condition of the brake fluid
  • Overall braking performance

If the discs are worn below the manufacturer's minimum thickness, we don't recommend resurfacing them — that's a temporary fix that reduces the disc's strength and can cause it to fail during emergency braking.

Brake disc and pad replacement

Brake discs and pads are wear items that gradually deteriorate with use and need replacing once they reach their wear limit. As part of the repair, we carry out:

  • Brake disc replacement when worn below the minimum
  • Brake pad replacement on all axles
  • Inspecting and cleaning the calipers of debris
  • Lubricating the caliper guide pins for correct operation
  • Bedding in new pads for proper break-in

Replacing discs and pads together ensures even contact between the working surfaces and predictable brake performance.

Brake fluid replacement

Brake fluid is hygroscopic — it gradually absorbs moisture from the air, even inside a sealed system. As moisture builds up, the fluid's boiling point drops, which can lead to vapor lock and reduced braking performance during hard braking.

We recommend replacing brake fluid every 2 years, regardless of mileage, to keep the brake system performing reliably in any driving conditions.

Bleeding the brake system

Bleeding the brake system removes air that can enter the circuit during a fluid change or when repairing calipers, hoses, or other system components. Air in the brake lines makes the pedal feel soft and reduces braking performance, so bleeding is mandatory after any depressurization of the system.

We bleed the brake system after every intervention in the circuit, to guarantee full and predictable brake performance.

Frequently asked questions

The cost depends on the vehicle make, disc type, and the scope of work required. You can confirm the exact price after a brake system check.

Resurfacing reduces the disc's thickness and strength, which for a worn disc can lead to failure during hard braking. We recommend replacement once the disc thickness is below the minimum allowed.

We recommend changing brake fluid every 2 years, since it gradually absorbs moisture and loses its properties, which reduces braking performance.

Bleeding removes air that can enter the brake circuit during repairs or a fluid change. Air in the system makes the brake pedal feel soft and reduces braking performance.

Signs of worn pads can include squealing when braking, an increased stopping distance, or the wear indicator light coming on in the dashboard.

We recommend replacing discs and pads on the same axle at the same time, since this ensures even contact between the working surfaces and predictable brake performance.

Frequently asked questions

We recommend booking at least a day ahead — this way we guarantee a free lift and mechanic when you arrive.

Computer diagnostics takes 30–60 minutes. A full suspension check — up to 2 hours depending on the vehicle.

Yes, we install customer-supplied parts. In this case the warranty covers labor only, not the part itself.

We service all passenger car brands — European, Japanese, Korean, and American.

Yes, all completed work and parts we install are covered by a warranty. The exact period depends on the type of service — check with your mechanic.
